How do I get there?

1) After B.A, B.Sc or B.Com

Entrance Exam : State Level B.Ed SET

Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE) conducts the Maharashtra State Eligibility Test (MH-SET).

2) B.Ed (2yrs)

3) After B.Ed

M.Ed  (1yr)

How to become Government Teacher?

After B.Ed you are eligible for the following State Level Competition Exams :

              1st Grade for teaching 11th-12th Std Students (Candidate should be Masters) 

              2nd Grade for teaching 8th-10th Std Students

              3rd Grade for teaching 1st to 8th Std Students

-NET (National Eligibility Test) conducted by UGC is a National Level Test for Lecturer. (Candidate should be Masters) (For more information on eligibility, payscale, etc, please visit the official website)

                               Paper 1 is a Common Test for all streams

                               Paper 2 is different for different Streams

***CSIR (Council for Scientific and Industrial Research) Test is equivalent to NET only for Science Subjects***
